The Kansas Staet Wildcats Baseball team opened a four-game stand at San Diego’s Tony Gwynn Stadium with a 7-2 victory over the home standing Aztecs Thursday night.  Righthanded Pitcher Kayvon Bahramzada hurled six solid innings and got plenty of offensive support.  The senior pitcher allowed just one run on four hits while striking out two during his 69-pitch outing.

Jared King and Wade Hinkle each collected three hits for the Bat Cats and Blair DeBord drove in a pair of runs.   K-State with the victory moves its record on the young season to 2-2 while San Diego State drops to 1-4.

K-State will face the University of San Diego Toreros on Friday at Tony Gwynn Stadium.  You can catch coverage online with Rob Voelker and Ryan Lackey on the call beginning at 11:30 a.m. CST online at www.1350kman.com
