A native Manhattan woman may not have won on Wheel of Fortune Thursday night, but she had a surprise of a different nature. Maryanne Rigor’s military husband surprised her at the end of the episode.
Major Rigor came back from Afghanistan , with his unit’s homecoming ceremony held the same day his wife filmed her episode. Major Rigor was hidden in a back room until the very end of the program–with the two embracing as the show ended.
Maryanne won 14-thousand dollars and a trip to Las Vegas, but was not the final winner in the Thursday night program.
