Not many details released, but the Wamego Police Department has announced an arrest in an attempted child abduction.
According to Wamego Police Chief Michael Baker, arrested Friday was Aniceto Vazquez-Zabula, 30.
Zabula allegedly attempted to abduct 2 young females. He was taken to the Pottawatomie County Jail on two counts of child abduction and stalking. Additionally, he faces charges in relation to federal immigration and various vehicle laws.
