A Manhattan man has been bound over for an arraignment hearing for aiding and abetting 1st degree murder, and drug charges on Friday in magistrate court.

Domingo Soto is facing charges stemming from the December 6th homicide of Steve Freele.  The additional charges include possession with the intent to distribute cocaine marijuana, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.   Defense Attorney Larry McRell says the prosecutions case is built on a “make or break” witness that has questionable credibility.

Judge William Malcolm ruled that the burden of evidence was enough to establish probable cause, and bound Soto over to Riley County Division two court for arraignment.

Soto’s arraignment will be held on the 12th of March at 2:30 pm.
