Riley County police made a number of arrests in response to an early morning call regarding a car break-in.

At approximately 1:25 a.m. Wednesday morning, police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Winston Place. Upon arrival officers noticed a vehicle leaving the area, whereby they conducted a traffic stop.

Police discovered a large amount of personal property, believed to be stolen, during the investigation. Police then arrested three individuals: 17-year old Ethan Wilson, 21-year old Khiry Graham, and 19-year old Tanner Humphreys.

All three are being charged with three counts of vehicle burglary, with the elder two also facing one count of contributing to child misconduct.

According to RCPD Lt. Josh Kyle, there were three  victims of Wednesday morning’s burglaries, all of whom reside in Winston Place Apartments. The amount personal property recovered is believed to belong to more than the listed victims.

Police are encouraging anyone who’s vehicle has been burglarized in the northwest portion of Manhattan over the past two weeks – specifically in the 2900 and 3000 blocks of Gary Road – to contact the Riley County police department at 785-537-2112
