Reports: K-State to hire Weber as next Coach

According to reports on ESPN.com and a post on Twitter by Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star, Kansas State has selected Bruce Weber to be the next Men’s Basketball coach for the Wildcats.   A press conference has been scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Bramlage Coliseum and it appears Weber will be introduced at that time.

Weber was fired at the end of this past season after nine seasons at Illinois.  Weber led the Illini to the National Championship game in 2005 where they lost to North Carolina.  Before joining Illinois Weber had a successful run as coach at Southern Illinois.
