Things looked bleak for the Rock Creek boys entering the fourth quarter of their 3A substate final with Riley County on Saturday night at St. Marys. The Falcons led 45-38, but the Mustangs scored 26 points in the frame to win 64-59. Rock Creek punches their first state tournament ticket since 1994 as Dillon Johnston poured in 19 points. Riley County was led by 18 points from Joel Garver, Brett Shoemaker had 13, and Cam Uphoff added 10. Mustangs coach Jim Johnston says his seven seniors earned the trip to state.
