    K-State baseball sweeps Sacred Heart

    Kayvon Bahramzadeh, Robert Youngdahl, and Jake Doller combined on a three-hitter as K-State completed a three game sweep of Sacred Heart with a 7-0 victory on Saturday.  Bahramzadeh struck out 7 Pioneers over six innings, and Youngdahl and Doller were perfect over the final three frames.  Jared King broke out of a slump at the plate with a 4 for 5 day with a double, two RBI’s, and two runs scored.

    K-State is 17-14 on the season with the sweep of Sacred Heart, and will play at Missouri State on Wednesday night at 6:00pm.  Coverage from Springfield begins at 5:30 on KMAN.  The Bears are 24-10 and have been ranked in the top 25 this season.
