TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) A veteran employee of the Kansas Corporation Commission has been named director of its utilities division.
Jeff McClanahan has served in several roles for the regulatory agency, including chief of accounting and financial analysis.
McClanahan will oversee the processing of rate cases filed by utility companies, tariffs and other regulatory filings. The division is comprised of telecommunications, accounting and financial analysis, energy operations, economic policy and planning and pipeline safety.
McClanahan has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Texas State University.
