Andrew Brenneman, 23, took the Riley County Police Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol for a wild ride Sunday afternoon. Around 3 PM, Brenneman made an illegal turn from 14th Street to Poyntz Ave. An RCPD officer initiated a traffic stop when Brenneman fled from the officer west towards K-18. Brenneman wove through traffic on K-18 and the officer broke off the case as Brenneman went off towards Wildcat Creek.

Brenneman then came back through Scenic Drive and around Eureka Drive, a Kansas Highway Patrol officer picked up the chase again. Brenneman lead the officer out to I-70 and finally ended the chase around mile marker 305.

Brenneman was arrested and charged with multiple counts of fleeing and alluding an officer, speeding, reckless driving, and driving with a suspended licence.

His bond is set at  $10,000.
