A man convicted in a 1982 Riley county second degree murder case has apparently been passed over for parole. Michael Long, 58, was sentenced in March of 1983 in connection with the case, occurring in August of 1982.
Long’s next possible release date is May of 2014.
He is currently incarcerated at the Larned Correctional Mental Health Facility and has been there most of the 29 years he’s served.
