Incidents

Riley County police have made an arrest in connection with a strong-armed robbery that occurred last week in City Park

RCPD followed a series of investigative leads which led to the arrest of Antonio Sutton of Alma, Kan., on Tuesday.

Sutton, 26, is believed to be one of the two individuals that mugged Tyler Becker, 24,  last week.

Becker was physically attacked by two males – both believed to be Hispanic – when he was walking through City Park last Friday, May 11. Several items were taken from Becker at the conclusion of the altercation.

Sutton is being charged with aggravated robbery. He is being held in Riley County jail on a $25,000 dollar bond.

He will be arraigned in Riley County District Court at a later date.
