A Junction City man has been arrested by Riley County Police on charges related to an alleged 1980 rape.
65 year old Jesse Hammond was arrested on a warrant from Riley County District courts Thursday afternoon. Hammond is under arrest for using force or fear to have intercourse with a woman withour her consent in 1980. The alleged victim is now 63 years old.
Hammond is being held on a $250,000 bond.
