Bruce Weber’s staff at K-State finally has a new addition. Alvin Brooks III will take one of two open spots left with the Wildcats, the school announced on Monday. Brooks has more than eight years of college coaching experience, including stints at Bradley and most recently Sam Houston State (2010-12). His contract details are still being finalized, but he will earn a base salary of $150,000 for 2012-13.
Weber also announced the hiring of Brad Korn to administrative role on his staff. Korn played for Weber at Southern Illinois, and also was a full-time assistant with the Salukis under current K-State associate head coach Chris Lowery.
