GARDNER, Kan. (AP) Authorities in northeastern Kansas say one person suffered minor injuries in the crash-landing of a small plane near Gardner Municipal Airport.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s office received a call around 1 p.m. Wednesday that an airplane had gone down. Deputies found the single-engine Beechcraft in a field about 200 yards south of the airport’s runway.
Two people were on board the airplane, but neither was hurt badly enough to be taken to a hospital.
The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into the cause of the crash.
