    Police Look For “Strong Arm” Robbery Suspect

    According to Riley County Police reports a Manattan woman was attacked and robbed near the 2100 block of Sloan on Thursday evening.

    48-year-old Teresa White told police that she was pushed down from behind as she entered her residence, and her purse taken by the suspect at around 9 pm.

    The suspect is described as a black male in his early 30’s at 5′ 7″,with a chubby face, close cropped hair, and weighing around 200 lbs.   According to police the suspect was wearing black jeans and a black shirt with horizontal white stripes at the time the crime allegedly occurred.

    White received a knee injury, and was transported to Mercy Regional Health Center and released after treatment.
