    Five Arrested in Connection with Distribution of Methamphetamines

    Early Thursday morning, five search warrants were executed regarding an ongoing investigation conducted by the Riley County Police Department, Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

    The search warrants were in reference to the distribution of methamphetamine.

    As a result, the following individuals were arrested for methamphetamine charges:

    Ricardo Enrique Carrillo-Leyva, a 34-year-old resident of the 14700 block of Royal Circle in Wamego, Kansas was arrested for the distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held at the Pottawatomie County Jail.

    Alberto Martinez-Banuelas, a 22-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan, Kansas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangerment of a child. He was held at the Riley County Jail.

    Kasey Delay, a 21-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan, Kansas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangerment of a child. She was held at the Riley County Jail.

    Bernardo Rodriguez-Gamez, a 52-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan, Kansas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. He was held at the Riley County Jail.

    Luis Esteban-Rodriguez, a 36-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road in Manhattan, Kansas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was held at the Riley County Jail.

    Laura Miller, a 31-year-old resident of the 1800 block of Denholm in Manhattan, Kansas was arrested for possession of marijuana, klonopin, ativan, and drug paraphernalia. She was held at the Riley County Jail.

    This investigation is still ongoing.
