Two of the biggest games on the Big 12 schedule of Bruce Weber’s first tenure at K-State will be on ESPN’s “Big Monday”. The Cats’ trip to Allen Fieldhouse to face the Kansas Jayhawks will be played on February 11th at 8:00pm. The first return trip to Manhattan of former K-State coach Bob Huggins will be shown on Big Monday, the following week, February 18th as West Virginia travels to Bramlage Coliseum.
KU leads the Big 12 in “Big Monday” appearances with four. The Mountaineers, Texas, and Baylor will each get the prime time slot three times. K-State will be on twice, while Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, and Iowa State each get one nod.
