TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) A man has suffered series injuries after crashing a car while fleeing from Topeka police.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reported that the chase started early Saturday when an officer attempted to pull over the car for a traffic violation.
Lt. Scott Gilchrist says the driver fled through a residential neighborhood before his vehicle flipped over. The driver was ejected and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
