    Pottawatomie County Investigate Arson

    The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported arson that occurred at the city park in Belvue on June 29th around 6:52 p.m.

    Deputies responded to the report of a loud explosion in the area of the city park. When the Deputies arrived, they found the mens rest-room had been damaged by an apparent explosion. The damage is estimated to be $400.

    A witnesses described a vehicle of interest leaving the area as a white or cream colored newer passenger car with two male juveniles.

    Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime are urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 785-457-3354.
