KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Kansas City Royals optioned left-hander Ryan Verdugo to Triple-A Omaha on Wednesday after he was hit hard in his big league debut. Verdugo gave up six runs on eight hits and two walks in 1 2-3 innings of a 9-6 loss Tuesday to Seattle. The Royals recalled Cuban left-hander Francisley Bueno, who was 1-4 with a 2.88 ERA in 31 relief appearances with Omaha. He was up briefly last month with Kansas City, appearing in two games and allowing one run on three hits in two games.
