The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen tractor and other equipment from the Manhattan area. The theft was reported Monday with the victim saying his John Deere 4520 tractor, Bohnert 18 foot flatbed trailer and a grass seeder were stolen.
These items had been parked at 701 Enoch Lane, in Manhattan. The victim saw the equipment at one Sunday afternoon, then noted the items missing Monday. The loss in this theft will exceed $30,000.
The evidence at the scene indicates a vehicle hooked up to the trailer, then may have travelled on Highway 24. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 457-3353
