    Police Blotter 9/5/12

    Two unknown male suspects successfully broke into a hospital, but left after failing to enter a specific clinic.

    Early Wednesday morning, two men broke into Mercy Regional Health Center on Sunset.  The men shattered the store front glass window and attempted to enter the Pain Clinic.  After failing to enter the clinic, the suspects fled the building.

    The first suspect is said to be a 6’0″ black male in his mid 20s.  He was wearing dark coveralls and stocking cap.

    The second suspect is said to be a 5’8″ white male in his mid 20s.  He was said to have been wearing gray cargo shorts, a black t-shirt and a stocking cap.

    The investigation is still ongoing at this time.

    A theft leaves a local frozen yogurt establishment with a significant loss.

    Orange Leaf owner John Sheldon reported to Riley County police yesterday, that over $25,000 has been stolen over a period of time.

    Between January 1st and June 11th, Sheldon has calculated a total amount of $26,905 missing.

    The theft is thought to be internal and the investigation is ongoing.
