Get ready for breakfast at your tailgate before the 2012 edition of the Dillons Sunflower Showdown, which will have a 11:05am kickoff on October 6th. The sold-out game marks the first time since the 2009 season that the in-state rivalry game will be played in Manhattan. The game will be televised nationally by FX, and is the Cats’ second appearance on the cable network after throttling Miami 52-13 three weeks ago.
Both teams are off this week before that match up, so the next edition of Powercat Gameday will be at 7:00am live from the west side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium on October 6th on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN & 101.5 K-Rock.
