A two vehicle accident in Pottawatomie county injuries one woman Wednesday afternoon.
55 year old Ruth Milliren of McFarland was traveling on highway 99 six and a half miles from Wamego, driving a 2011 Toyota passenger car when she fell asleep, crossed the center line and struck a trailer attached to the 2003 Suburban driven by Morton Hight of Lecompton.
The Kansas Highway patrol reports that Milliren was taken to Mercy Regional health center, where she was admitted for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
