The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced that as of Thursday, Oct 25th the I-70 eastbound and westbound rest areas between mile markers 292 and 294 are temporarily closed due to a water leak. The rest areas are located just west of Junction City. It is anticipated that repairs will be made and the rest area reopened by Wednesday, Oct 31st.
