    UPDATE on Pedestrian-Vehicle accident on Fort Riley Boulevard

    KMAN has received further information regarding the Pedestrian-Vehicle accident reported at 10th Street and Ft Riley Boulevard.

    Emergency personnel report that there were a couple injuries involved in the incident which includes a 25 year old female and a 15 month old child.

    The 25 year old female was struck by the vehicle in the incident and is complaining of back pain.

    The 15 month old child was a in a stroller, but was not struck by the vehicle involved. The child did receive a bruise on their upper lip from the stroller being tipped over.

    The two were taken to Mercy Regional Health Center.

    At approximately 12:26pm this afternoon, the Pedestrian-Vehicle accident was reported by the Riley County Police Department.
