Brittany Chambers scored 16 of her 22 points in the second half as the K-State won in their season debut 62-54 over Idaho State on Friday night at Bramlage Coliseum. The Bengals played the Wildcats tough in the first half, as K-State (1-0) led just 29-26 at the break. But, the Cats scored the first 10 points of the second frame, and Idaho State would not get closer than seven points the rest of the way.
