While K-State is spending Thanksgiving this season at the basketball mecca of Madison Square Garden, they’ll be eating turkey in paradise in 2014. The Cats will be in the field of the Maui Invitational two years from now, with a loaded field featuring seven teams who reached the postseason last winter. Arizona, BYU, Missouri, Pittsburgh, Purdue, and San Diego State join host Chaminade in the tournament. The Division II Silverswords did knock off fellow Big 12 member Texas in this season’s Maui Invitational.
