McCoy to start at QB for Texas vs. K-State

Case McCoy will start for the injured David Ash at quarterback for Texas against K-State on Saturday.

McCoy has twice come on in relief of Ash this season and picked up the win with two fourth-quarter touchdowns against Kansas.  He went 11 of 17 for 110 yards with an interception and a touchdown drive after Ash exited  with a rib injury against TCU last Thursday in the Horns’ 20-13 loss to the Horned Frogs.

K-State will play in prime time on national television for the seventh time this season on Saturday night against Texas at 7:00pm.  The final regular season edition of Powercat Gameday will air at 3:00 on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN & 101.5 K-Rock live from the west side of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
