On Monday, a plea of not guilty was given in the arraignment of Daniel Parker on charges of first degree murder of 21 year old Frederick Beverly and first degree premeditated murder.

A written waiver to a speedy trial was also given, which has pushed the trial date to next year as it was stated that Defense Attorney Ronald Evans would not have enough time before then for the case.

Parker’s trial is set to begin April 8th at 9:00 am, with a pre-trial hearing set for March 19th.
