    Local Business Burglary with Suspect Photos

    Riley County Police are requesting help in identifying a suspect who stole over 80 items from a local business.

    Around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, owner of Grand Slam Sports, Michael Thompson (62) received a call from the owner of the store next door.  The owner claimed he thought the sports store had been robbed and he had images of the suspect on his surveillance camera.

     Thompson called RCPD to report that entry had been made into his store by breaking the glass to the front door.  Once inside, the suspect took ten pairs of Mizuno Sport shoes, 70 baseball bats and a purple baseball bag.

    The total loss, including all stolen items and damage, is $15,500.
