K-State Senior Guard Rodney McGruder has been named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Week.
McGruder had 15 points and 11 rebounds in K-State’s first road win of the season at George Washington on Saturday. It was a season high in rebounds and minutes played for McGruder who was playing in front of 60 plus friends and family in his hometown of Washington D.C.
K-State is off until Saturday against No. 10 Gonzaga at KeyArena in Seattle. Pregame from the K-State Sports Network is at 7pm with the tip off to come at 8pm and can be heard in its entirety on KMAN.
