Snyder: Zimmerman Participating in Practice (W/ Audio)

A gaping hole was left in K-State’s secondary when junior safety Ty Zimmerman went down in the fourth quarter of the Cats’ win at TCU.  Even though Dante Barnett and Thomas Ferguson filled in admirably, the impact was great as Baylor piled up 342 rushing yards in a 52-24 romp over K-State.  Whether Zimmerman plays in the Fiesta Bowl against Oregon on January 3rd seven weeks after his injury remains to been.  However, Coach Bill Snyder says his third team all-American has been a participant in some aspects of practice this month, and “would like to think that he’ll be on the field.”
