    K-State Men Slide in Polls

    0
By Rob Voelker on January 29, 2013 K-State Sports

K-State is still in the polls this week at 15-4.  But, after losses to KU and Iowa State last week, the Cats are down seven spots to #18 in the AP poll, and eight spots to #21 in the USA Today coaches’ poll.

Two of K-State’s four losses are the team splitting the top spot in the rankings at the moment.  Michigan is #1 in the AP poll and Kansas is tops in the coaches poll.  The Cats’ win over Florida continues to look better with the Gators up to #4, and getting a first place vote in each poll.

The only other Big 12 team receiving votes in either poll besides K-State and KU is Baylor.  The Sunflower State still has three ranked teams as Wichita State is #14 in the coaches and #15 in the AP.
