Due to an anticipated major winter storm, Kansas State University will close the Manhattan and Salina campuses on Thursday, Feb.21. The National Weather Service forecast calls for heavy snow to begin Thursday morning and continue through the day, creating hazardous travel conditions. Essential employees should report to work to maintain mission critical operations. The university expects a return to normal operations at both campuses on Friday. Hale Library will be closed on the Manhattan campus.
