KSHB-TV in Kansas City is reporting that K-State football commit Jamone Boyd, has been charged with five counts each of first degree robbery and armed criminal action.  Boyd is a three-star defensive end according to Rivals.com out of Lee’s Summit West, MO.  According to the report, Boyd allegedly “forced his way into a Kansas City apartment and stole cash from five people inside” in January, according to the KSHB report.  Prosecutors have asked the court for a $150,000 bond.

In November, Boyd was also tased twice by police when being taken into custody for marijuana possession.  The 6-foot 4-inch, 245 pound Boyd, committed to K-State in December per GoPowercat.com, and was also being recruited by schools such as Arkansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Tennessee.
