    Riley County police reported a couple of warrant-related arrests Wednesday, including  Dustin Howell, 34, of Emporia. Howell’s arrest involved an out of jurisdiction warrant from Ellsworth county, including charges of theft and driving while a habitual violator. Bond in Ellsworth is five-thousand dollars.

    Also taken into custody was Dennis J. Millering Jr., 26, of Manhattan, for a federal warrant from the military for extradition. No bond amount was listed, but Millering remains confined.

    A couple of car thefts and a related burglary are being investigated by Riley county police.

    One reportedly occurred last Friday (March 29th) but was just reported Wednesday.  Rachel Pate, 22,who lives in the 800 block of Laramie, tells police her red Chevy Tahoe, with an estimated value of nine-thousand dollars, was taken after an unknown suspect unlawfully entered her room and took car keys. The vehicle was returned later but there was reportedly rear fender damage.

    And William Kangas, 26, of Tennessee reported to police that an unknown subject took his 2011 Jeep Wrangler from the 300 block of Riley Avenue in Ogden sometime between February 19th and 28th.

    Riley county police are investigating a report of lewd and lascivious behavior, involving a female child under five years old. The incident was reported Wednesday morning and allegedly occurred in the northeast part of Manhattan, with a male exposing himself to the child. The suspect has been named and is being investigated by RCPD.
