ESPN’s Jeff Goodman reports that K-State basketball transfer Adrian Diaz will continue his college career at Florida International. Diaz will sit out the 2013-14 season due to NCAA transfer rules before being eligible to play for the Panthers. FIU is coming off an 18-14 season, and will be led by Anthony Evans after Richard Pitino departed for Minnesota.
Diaz announced he was leaving K-State in April after two seasons with the Wildcats. He averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds per game in 49 career games with K-State.
