Fort Riley Woman Indicted On Weapons Charge

A Fort Riley woman has been indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm. That’s according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom’s office Thursday, which indicates Kathy Rivera allegedly committed the crime this past January on the Fort Riley military installation.

If convicted, Rivera faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000. Fort Riley Police investigated the case.
