By KMAN Staff on June 27, 2013 Big 12 Sports, K-State Sports, Sports

It was a season of milestones for the K-State baseball team with the school’s first Big 12 title and Super Regional berth, and a school record 45 victories.

The final college baseball polls were all released on Thursday, and the Cats are ranked in the top 15 of all five polls.  Baseball America tabbed K-State #13 in its final top 25.  The Cats were tabbed #19 in their previous highest finish in that survey back in 2009.  K-State was also #14 in the USA Today Coaches’, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), and Perfect Game College Top 25 polls.  Collegiate Baseball ranked the Cats #15.

Both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State also represented the Big 12 in the final polls.
