Ross Kivett tells KMAN he will announce tomorrow whether or not he will sign with the Cleveland Indians and skip his final season at K-State.

Kivett was drafted in the 10th round of last week’s MLB draft by his hometown team (Kivett is from Broadview Heights, Ohio), and will likely get a signing bonus of around $100,000 if he opts to go pro.

Kivett let his twitter followers know when he will make his decision as well.

@RossKSU7 Hey every1 i know I said 2day was the day, but sum unfortunate timin things developd. Have 2 push announcemnt back aday. Please stay tuned.

Kivett was the Big 12 Player of the Year in 2013 after hitting .360 with three home runs and 39 RBI’s. He has been named an All-American by three different publications since the Wildcat season ended in the Corvallis Super Regional. He will be a guest on KMAN’s “The Game” tomorrow to discuss his decision.

As reported by KMAN earlier this week, Jared King will sign with the New York Mets and forgo his final year at K-State. He expects to begin his pro career with the Brooklyn Cyclones in short season class A baseball in the Mets organization.
