According to the Westar Energy outage map, there were 1,296 customers without power in Riley County and another 105 in Pottawatomie County without power.
After speaking with a representative, power was expected to be back within a couple of hours.
As of about 10 pm, there were only 455 customers still in Riley and five in Pottawatomie County without power.
