A portion of Hayes Drive will close Monday for three to four weeks while a new sanitary sewer main is installed.
During this time, Hayes Drive will be closed in a section north of the intersection with Levee Drive. Traffic will be detoured via Tuttle Creek Boulevard to Casement Road and McCall Road to access Hayes Drive around the closure.
Drivers should expect moderate to heavy traffic and some delays on Tuttle Creek Boulevard, Casement Road and McCall Road.
The work will be completed in coordination with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment as part of ongoing remediation efforts tied to City Water Well 12.
