Make it seven wins in a row for the Junction City Brigade after Saturday night’s 3-1 victory over the Rossville Rattlers. The Brigade are now 13-5, and also beat the North Central Kansas Knights 11-1 on Friday night. The Knights will travel to Rathert Stadium again on Tuesday night.
Rain hampered the weekend, but the Manhattan Manko Senior 17ers split a pair of games on Sunday at the Missouri Western State Showcase. Manko lost 5-4 to the Midwest Black Sox, but edged Next Level Baseball 2-1.
