Power was restored to Riley and Pottawatomie County Westar customers about 35 minutes after the reported problem. Westar Spokeswoman Gina Penzig tells KMAN the problem was due to a breaker going out. More than 1,800 customers were impacted during the brief outage, with traffic lights at several busy intersections in Manhattan impacted.

A power outage was reported just before four Sunday afternoon, affecting 217 Riley County Westar customers, and 1,602 Pottawatomie County customers.
