More evidence and testimony was heard Friday morning in the trial of Lavertis Horne concerning a home invasion which according to Riley County Police resulted in a Kansas State University student being shot.
Horne is facing multiple charges including aggravated robbery and aggravated battery.
At about 10:30 am, the jury was released for their lunch break and instructed to return at 11:45 am to hear closing arguments.
