Another scam has been discovered and this one deals with debit cards.
Reports state an automated system calls saying the person’s debit card had been disabled from internet shopping and they need to call an 800 number, or “press 1 now,” to re-activate it, and to “verify their card number.”
The scam has so far been targeting 785-447-XXXX numbers and 785-630-XXXX numbers.
