In a collaborative effort between the Riley County and Junction City Police Departments with assistance from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, 33-year old Anthony Stephan Nichols was arrested in connection with the murder of Anthony D. Nixon on September 7th, 2013. The investigation is still on going. Mr. Nichols was arrested on 1st Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery Charges shortly after 9:30 Wedensday evening. He is being held at the Geary County Detention Center without bond pending first appearance.
