K-State officially dedicated the newly renovated Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex, Friday Afternoon.
The project began after a successful student referendum in 2007, and cost 23 million dollars.
A variety of K-State leaders were in attendance including, Dean of Students, Pat Bosco; Provost, April Mason; Rec Director, Steve Martini; Current Student Body President, Eli Schooley; and Past Student Body President, Nate Spriggs.
A statue titled the “Rec Cat”, located near the south entrance, was also unveiled during Friday’s ceremony.
